Group of thieves assaults victim and flee with stolen property in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A robbery in Southwest D.C. left a victim assaulted and robbed after four suspects approached and implied they had a weapon before fleeing with stolen property.

The incident occurred around 5:26 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, in the 400 block of L’Enfant Plaza, Southwest. The suspects physically attacked the victim before taking their belongings and escaping.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects, and authorities have released photos to assist in their identification.

Anyone with information is urged to call (202) 727-9099 or send an anonymous text to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for details leading to an arrest and conviction.
