Three injured in Philadelphia shooting, including two teenagers

PHILADELPHIA — Three people were shot Tuesday evening in the city’s 25th District, including two teenage girls, police said.

Officers responded to the 2800 block of Reese Street around 7:38 p.m. and found a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported by police to Temple Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

An 18-year-old woman sustained two gunshot wounds to the left thigh, and a 16-year-old girl was shot once in the right thigh. Both victims were taken to Temple Hospital by private vehicle and were listed in stable condition.

Authorities have not recovered any weapons, and no arrests have been made. The scene remains secured as the investigation continues.

Police have not released information on a possible motive or suspects in the shooting.
