Man found shot to death in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON, DC — A man was found shot multiple times Sunday night in Southeast Washington, prompting a homicide investigation.

Officers responded just after 10 p.m. to the 2900 block of Knox Place, SE, where they discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medics attempted life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.

No arrests have been made. Authorities are asking anyone with information to call 202-727-9099 or text MPD’s tip line at 50411.
