Dover man killed in Cheswold motorcycle crash identified by state police

CHESWOLD, DE — Delaware State Police have identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Friday night as 22-year-old Jordan Cuffee of Dover.

According to investigators, Cuffee was killed in a collision that took place in Cheswold. Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the circumstances of the crash, including whether other vehicles were involved.

The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing to investigate the incident. Officials have asked the public for assistance as they work to determine the events leading up to the crash.

“Anyone who witnessed this collision is asked to contact Master Corporal J. Lane by calling (302) 698-8457,” Delaware State Police said in a public statement. The agency also noted that information can be submitted through private message on its official Facebook page or by contacting Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.

No charges have been filed, and no other injuries have been reported as of Sunday.

Public assistance requested in ongoing investigation

Cuffee was a resident of Dover and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not confirmed whether speed, impairment, or road conditions were contributing factors.
