JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Authorities are searching for a 10-year-old girl who was last seen Thursday evening at Newport Centre Mall, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Divine Anyanwu, of Jersey City, was spotted on surveillance footage around 7:42 p.m. walking toward Newport Parkway with an unidentified male, officials said.
The child is described as a Black female, approximately 5-foot-4 and 180 pounds, with short black hair. She was wearing a neon orange headband, white tank top, tie-dye shorts, and black-and-white sneakers at the time of her disappearance.

The New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit and Jersey City Police Department are requesting help from the public to locate the girl. “Divine was last seen on surveillance cameras on Thursday, June 5, at 7:42 p.m. at Newport Centre Mall,” officials confirmed.
Investigators have not released details about the unknown male seen with her but are reviewing video footage and speaking with potential witnesses in the area.

The Newport Centre Mall remains a focal point of the investigation as authorities continue to trace Divine’s last known movements.
Police have not yet confirmed whether there is evidence of foul play or if Divine left the area voluntarily.
