BALTIMORE, Md. — A 23-year-old man died after being shot early Friday morning in Southwest Baltimore, according to city police.
Officers were alerted just after midnight when the victim walked into a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite emergency treatment, the man later died from his injuries.
Investigators determined that the shooting occurred in the 1500 block of West Fayette Street. A crime scene was located at that location following the hospital report.
The identity of the victim has not been released, and police have not indicated whether any suspects have been identified.
