Two players split $816K Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in weekend drawing

TRENTON, N.J. — A Middlesex County lottery player and another who used the Jackpocket app each won $408,109 after splitting Saturday’s $816,218 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot, the New Jersey Lottery announced Monday.

The prize marks the 31st Jersey Cash 5 jackpot win so far this year. The ticket purchased in Middlesex County was sold at the ShopRite of Spotswood, located at 380 Summerhill Road. Both ShopRite and Jackpocket will receive $2,000 retailer bonuses for selling the winning tickets.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 22, 35, 37, 40 and 42. The XTRA number was 04, and the Bullseye number was 35.

Beyond the jackpot, several other players also claimed significant prizes. Ten players matched four numbers plus the Bullseye and the XTRA, each winning $1,500. Another four players matched four numbers and the XTRA, collecting $750 each.

Dozens of winners in weekend Cash 5 drawing

An additional 32 players matched four out of five numbers and the Bullseye to win $500 each. The Jersey Cash 5 game continues to generate consistent winners across New Jersey.
