22-year-old man shot and killed late night on Marx Avenue in Northeast Baltimore

Baltimore, MD — A 22-year-old man was fatally shot just before midnight on Monday in Northeast Baltimore, prompting a homicide investigation now underway by city police.

At approximately 11:52 p.m. on January 5, Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 4400 block of Marx Avenue for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim, identified as Kenyon Quickley Jr., suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital but later died from his injuries, police confirmed.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and no suspects have been identified or arrested at this time.
