$360 Million Powerball Jackpot Winner Announced, $3 Million Winner in New Jersey

TRENTON, NJ- A ticket sold in Texas clinched the $360 million jackpot in the Friday, Oct. 6, Mega Millions drawing. Additionally, two tickets from New Jersey matched five white balls, winning $1 million each; one of these tickets had the Megaplier option, increasing its prize to $3 million. Both were purchased at Jackpocket, 355 Warwick Turnpike, Hewitt in Passaic County.

Another ticket from New Jersey secured a third-tier prize, matching four white balls and the Gold Mega Ball, bagging $10,000. This ticket was sold at Freedom News, One Path Plaza, Jersey City in Hudson County.

Furthermore, 27 players matched four white balls, earning $500 per ticket. One of these had the Megaplier, pushing its prize to $1,500. Additionally, 45,128 New Jersey participants won prizes totaling $197,936, with individual wins ranging from $2 to $600.

The winning numbers from the Oct. 6 drawing were: 12, 24, 46, 57, and 66 with a Gold Mega Ball of 22 and a Megaplier Multiplier of 03.
