by Local News Report

ELKRIDGE, MD — A $620,000 jackpot-winning ticket for the Maryland Lottery’s Multi-Match game was sold at Royal Farms #054 in Elkridge. The winning ticket for the December 7 drawing matched all six numbers: 15, 24, 26, 35, 39, and 41.

The fortunate ticket holder has the option to choose between a $620,000 annuity, paid in 25 equal yearly installments, or a lump sum cash option estimated at $370,000, before taxes. Lottery officials advise the winner to sign the ticket’s back and store it securely.

Winners have a 182-day period from the draw date to claim their prize. Detailed instructions for claiming prizes, either in person or by mail, are available online. For prizes exceeding $25,000, claims must be made either by mail or in person at the Lottery headquarters located in the Montgomery Park Business Center at 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, Baltimore. Due to the current policy, the Lottery’s Claims Center requires appointments for in-person claims.

Royal Farms #054, the retailer of the winning ticket at 8268 Lark Brown Drive, also has reason to celebrate. The store will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
