THOMASVILLE, NC – Hunter Hagerman, a resident of Thomasville, became a millionaire overnight thanks to a $30 scratch-off ticket. The winning Millionaire Maker ticket was purchased at Marts To Go on Cotton Grove Road in Lexington.

Upon claiming his prize at lottery headquarters on Wednesday, Hagerman faced a significant decision regarding the payout of his winnings.
