MOUNT OLIVER, PA—A fatal shooting in Mount Oliver has prompted an investigation by the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. today, with emergency services called to the scene in the 100 block of Amanda Avenue.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered an adult male victim deceased at the location.
Preliminary reports indicate that the victim was shot in the doorway of his residence, leading to immediate death.
