Motor Vehicle Stolen in Wilkes-Barre

Wilkes-Barre, PA – Officers responded to a theft of a motor vehicle on South River Street on Friday at 8:33 AM. The victim, a 24-year-old male, reported the incident to the authorities.

According to the victim, an unknown individual unlawfully took the vehicle overnight. The stolen car is a silver 2015 KIA Optima with Pennsylvania registration MJJ-6278.

The Wilkes-Barre City Police Department has acknowledged the theft and is continuing the investigation. They urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in the recovery of the vehicle.
