QUEENS, N.Y. — A 17-year-old girl was shot and killed inside a home on Clover Place in Queens on Saturday evening, police said.
Officers from the 107th Precinct responded to a 911 call at approximately 5:13 p.m. and found Deaza Barkley, of Brooklyn, unconscious with a gunshot wound to the head. She was transported by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
Authorities continue to search for suspects as gun violence claims another young life in the city.
