Lordstown store sells $100K Powerball-winning ticket

by Local News Report

LORDSTOWN, OH – An Ohio Lottery player is $100,000 richer after winning a third-tier prize in Saturday’s Powerball drawing.

The winning ticket, purchased at Lordstown Speed Check at 6565 Todd Ave, matched four of five numbers plus the Powerball to win $50,000. Because the player also matched the Power Play number, their prize doubled to $100,000. The winning numbers for the drawing were 7, 18, 22, 50, 65, with Powerball 15 and Power Play 2.

The ticket was purchased using auto pick, and as of Feb. 24, the prize remains unclaimed. The winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is an estimated $230 million. Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to education across the state.
