Lutherville, MD – A Harford County registered nurse turned a casual pastime into a $50,000 prize when her favorite scratch-off game, MONOPOLY X50, delivered one of its remaining second-tier wins.
The Bel Air woman purchased the $10 ticket from Margate Marathon at 1601 York Road in Lutherville. The MONOPOLY X50 game, which launched in January, still has three $50,000 second-tier prizes and three $100,000 top prizes unclaimed.
This win marks the seventh $50,000 prize claimed in the game. The winner said she plans to use the money to pay bills and treat herself, though she has not yet decided how.
