Teen arrested after Ridgewood Avenue shooting in Northwest Baltimore
BALTIMORE, MD – An 18-year-old from Baltimore County has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting that injured another teen in Northwest Baltimore earlier this week, police confirmed.
Delvon Bryant was taken into custody following a brief foot pursuit by officers from the Northwest District Action Team. He is accused of shooting an 18-year-old male in the 3000 block of Ridgewood Avenue around 7:42 p.m. on Tuesday night.
Responding officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand. He was transported to an area hospital and is expected to recover.
On the scene, police detained a person of interest — now identified as Bryant — and later arrested him after further investigation. Detectives transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was officially charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, and several handgun-related offenses.

Police have not released a possible motive for the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing.
