VBPD operation on Williamsburg Road results in ten arrests and weapons seizure
Virginia Beach, VA – A coordinated police operation at a Williamsburg Road residence led to ten arrests and the recovery of multiple firearms, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia Saturday morning, following ongoing community complaints and repeated condemnations of the property.
The operation took place on Feb. 14 after officers from the Third Precinct observed continued unauthorized activity at a residence in the 500 block of Williamsburg Road. The location had generated 46 calls for service since July 2022 and had most recently been condemned on Dec. 5.
Around 8:10 a.m., officers from the midnight shift, Community Service Squad, and day shift executed a search warrant and safely detained ten individuals. Several had outstanding warrants, while others were found with illegal narcotics.
Police recovered two rifles, a short-barreled rifle, a stolen sawed-off shotgun, ammunition, narcotics, drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and a vehicle suspected of being used to transport illegal substances.
Those arrested and charged include:
• Jason Rawlins, 50, Virginia Beach – Possession Schedule I/II, firearm by felon (two counts), possession of narcotics with firearm, PWID marijuana, trespassing, maintaining a common nuisance, and eight magistrate summonses
• Deshaun Morrow, 26, Virginia Beach – Possession Schedule I/II (two counts), trespassing
• Frank Dominguez, 41, Virginia Beach – Trespassing
• Janette Miller, 54, Norfolk – Trespassing
• Felica Savage, 36, Portsmouth – Trespassing, capias out of Chesapeake
• Alex Zavala Lopez, 35, Norfolk – Trespassing
• Travis Short, 30, Virginia Beach – Trespassing
• Jillian Autry, 25, Norfolk – Possession Schedule I/II, trespassing
• Juliette Miller, 27, Norfolk – Trespassing
• Cyera Rawlins, 35, Virginia Beach – Trespassing
