One lucky ticket matched enough numbers in Saturday’s drawing to claim a six-figure prize.
MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — A Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $100,000 was sold at a Franklin County gas station for the June 27 drawing, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The winning ticket was purchased at Sun Gas & Diesel (Pit Stop), located at 1410 Doron Drive in Greene Township.
The ticket matched four of the five white balls — 3, 16, 28, 30 and 59 — along with the red Powerball 11. Because the ticket included the Power Play option, the prize increased to $100,000.
The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Lottery officials said winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Powerball prizes in Pennsylvania must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.
More than 32,000 Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes in the June 27 drawing. The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated $360 million annuity, or $163.8 million cash, for the next drawing.
