COLUMBUS, OH – On July 1, 2021, at 2:08 am, officers were dispatched to 945 Sullivant Ave., the Patio Bar, on the report of a shooting. Officers arrived at scene and discovered the victim, 29-year-old Edward Hunter, suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced deceased at 2:16 am. Witnesses at the scene stated there was an altercation and the suspect produced a handgun and fired several rounds, which struck the victim.
The suspect was described as a light skin black male with his hair pulled back in a ponytail.
