NEW YORK, NY – On Tuesday, police from the NYPD in Brooklyn released a photo of a man wanted for a brutal slashing of a woman with a razor blade over the weekend. Now, police are asking the public for help identifying the male suspect.

Detectives with the New York City Police Department are investigating the violent attack of a woman in Brooklyn this weekend.

Police arrived at 459 Fulton Street at around 2:28 pm on Friday after the report of a dispute between a man and a woman. When they arrived, police learned the male suspect had slashed the 39-year-old woman with a razor blade across her face.

The suspect fled the scene after causing a severe laceration to her face.
