NEW YORK, NY – On Thursday, the New York City Police Department reported an incident that occurred on a moving northbound ‘4’ train as it approached the Bedford Park Boulevard – Lehman College station.
According to the NYPD, at around 4:25 pm, a 52-year-old woman was approached by two unidentified individuals as the train doors opened.
One of the individuals proceeded to assault the woman by striking her head, followed by the second individual pushing her off the train onto the platform area. The woman sustained several abrasions due to the fall and the two individuals fled the scene, exiting at the same station.
Following the incident, emergency medical services responded and transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital. She is reported to be in stable condition. Meanwhile, the NYPD is seeking public assistance in identifying and locating the two individuals involved in this assault.
