Gwynn Oak Homeowner Facing No Charges After Shooting Home Invader

Towson, MD- Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit have concluded the circumstances surrounding a shooting on Monday are linked to a domestic situation.

Responding to a home invasion report at the 5900 block of Talbott St., officers also found an adult male in the area of Ingleside and Sunset Avenue, who had sustained gunshot wounds around 10:20 a.m.

The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Following investigations, authorities established that the shooting resulted from an attempted burglary at the residence on Talbott St. Charges are forthcoming against the burglary suspect, who was shot but sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office confirmed the homeowner will not face charges.
