Police seek suspect after ABC store theft in Chesapeake
CHESAPEAKE, VA – Surveillance images are being reviewed after an unknown suspect walked out of a Chesapeake liquor store with nearly $200 worth of alcohol, prompting police to ask for the public’s help identifying the individual.
The incident occurred January 29 around 3:43 p.m. at an ABC Store in the 1400 block of Sams Drive. According to police, the suspect entered the store, selected multiple bottles of alcohol valued at approximately $195, and left without paying.
The suspect then fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported.
Police described the suspect as wearing a navy blue zip-up jacket, black pants, and a beanie with a square light centered on the front.
