Man wounded by gunfire arrives at hospital and leaves detectives searching for where the shooting happened
Baltimore, Md. — A 27-year-old man carrying a gunshot wound walked into a Baltimore hospital Friday afternoon, setting off an investigation after officers discovered that no one knew where the shooting had taken place.
Baltimore Police said Northeast District patrol officers were called to the hospital at about 12:55 p.m. on Friday after receiving a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
When officers arrived, they found the man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound that police said was not considered life-threatening.
Investigators have not determined where the shooting occurred, leaving detectives to piece together how the man was injured and where the gunfire erupted.
