BALTIMORE, Md. – Authorities have arrested LaForrest Morgan, 46, of Baltimore, in connection with a shooting that occurred in the Western District on June 28.
Investigators determined that during a robbery, Morgan shot a 27-year-old male victim and stole his property. On July 16, officers arrested Morgan without incident. He was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with attempted first-degree murder, handgun violations, and CDS possession.

On June 28, at approximately 8:59 p.m., officers responded to a local hospital for a walk-in shooting victim. Upon arrival, they found a 27-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds. The preliminary investigation revealed the shooting took place in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
