Police say alleged gunman and two victims were all injured during Eastern District gunfire

BALTIMORE, Md. — A Baltimore man accused of opening fire and wounding two people is now facing attempted murder charges after detectives tracked him down and took him into custody.

The Baltimore Police Department announced the arrest of 36-year-old Dion Khun of Baltimore in connection with an Eastern District shooting that left a 23-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man injured.

According to investigators, Khun was also injured during the incident.

Police said Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Khun on May 20 without incident.

He was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or the extent of the injuries suffered by those involved.

The investigation remains ongoing.
