Baltimore woman wins Hawaii trip and million-dollar shot

Baltimore woman wins Hawaii trip and shot at $1 million in Jurassic Park Lottery promotion

Baltimore, MD – A Baltimore woman is packing her bags for paradise—and possibly a million-dollar payday—after being selected as the final winner in the Maryland Lottery’s Jurassic Park second-chance promotion.

Millicent Williams was chosen from among thousands of entries submitted between September 19 and January 6 by players who entered non-winning Jurassic Park scratch-offs into the Maryland Lottery’s My Lottery Rewards system. Her prize: a six-day, five-night trip to Hawaii and a chance to compete in the $1,000,000 Jackpot Challenge.

It’s a first major win for Williams, who told Lottery officials that although she’s traveled before, she has never been to Hawaii and is eager to experience it for the first time. She said she wasted no time sharing the news with her daughter, who will accompany her on the trip.

Williams will join fellow Maryland winners James Dabney Jr. of Baltimore, Mithra Khoshroo of Potomac, and John Hudson of Stevensville on the island of Oahu. In addition to airfare and hotel accommodations, each participant will receive $1,000 in spending cash, a welcome reception, and a choice of guided tours or excursions during the trip.

While in Hawaii, all four will take part in the Jurassic Park-themed $1,000,000 Jackpot Challenge, where each has a chance to win up to $1 million.

Though the final drawing for the Hawaii trips has concluded, Jurassic Park scratch-off tickets still offer players a shot at instant prizes, including two remaining top prizes of $50,000.
