JERSEY CITY, NJ – Police in Jersey City announced they are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon. The Jersey City Police Department did not release any further details.

Here’s what we know so far from the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.

“The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and JCPD are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred this afternoon in the area of Crescent and Belmont Avenues in Jersey City,” the HCPO said in a statement moments ago.
