Brooklyn creep wanted after grabbing woman from behind in late night street attack

Police say the suspect groped a 29 year old woman before running off into the night

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — NYPD detectives are searching for a suspect accused of forcibly touching a woman during a late-night encounter on a Brooklyn street before fleeing the area on foot.

According to NYPD Crimestoppers, the incident happened Saturday at approximately 2:15 a.m. near the intersection of Clinton Street and Carroll Street.

Investigators said a 29-year-old woman was approached from behind by an unidentified individual.

Police allege the suspect grabbed the victim’s buttocks before immediately fleeing westbound on Carroll Street toward an unknown location.

Authorities have not released a description of the suspect.

The NYPD is asking anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward as detectives continue investigating.
