Suspect pushes cart full of stolen electronics out of Stafford Walmart

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. — Authorities are investigating a theft after a suspect walked out of a Walmart with a cart full of unpaid electronics.

The incident occurred around 11:50 a.m. on March 23 at the store on Washington Square Plaza, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

Employees told deputies the suspect filled a cart with multiple boxed items and bypassed all points of sale without attempting to pay.

Surveillance footage confirmed the theft and showed the suspect leaving with items including a JBL surround sound system and a Sony electronic device.

Deputies have not yet identified a suspect, and the investigation remains ongoing.
