Father and son jailed on child exploitation charges after investigation in Bensalem
Bensalem, PA — A father and son are behind bars after an investigation into online activity led detectives to alleged child exploitation material inside their apartment.
The case began when Bensalem Police received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating someone at the Salem Crossing Apartments on Old Street Road was attempting to obtain illegal images involving minors.
Investigators traced the activity to an apartment occupied by Raul “Christian” Sandoval Jr., 34, and Raul Sandoval Sr., 58.
On March 12, detectives executed a search warrant at the residence, seizing a desktop computer belonging to the son and a phone belonging to the father.

Authorities said a forensic review of the devices uncovered more than 100 images involving minors on the computer, along with additional illegal images found on the phone.
Arrest warrants were issued charging both individuals with sexual abuse of children related to abuse material and criminal use of a communication facility.
On Thursday, both men turned themselves in to Bensalem Police. They were arraigned and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after bail was set at 10 percent of $2,000,000 each.
The investigation remains part of ongoing efforts to identify and prosecute crimes involving the exploitation of minors.
