A late-night shooting in East Baltimore sent two victims to area hospitals as detectives worked to identify those responsible
BALTIMORE, Md. — A burst of gunfire on an East Baltimore street left two men wounded Thursday night, prompting an investigation as detectives search for answers in the latest city shooting.
Baltimore Police said officers responded at approximately 9:24 p.m. Thursday to the 1200 block of East Preston Street for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old man and a 32-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
Police said the men were listed in stable condition.
Investigators have not released information regarding a possible suspect, motive, or the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
Eastern District detectives are leading the investigation.
