Employee Robbed at Gunpoint at Brooklyn Bodega

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is actively seeking the public’s help in identifying two individuals connected to an attempted robbery at a Bodega located at 186 Scholes Street.

The incident took place on Sunday, September 24, around 6:15 pm.

Reports indicate that two unidentified males approached a 28-year-old employee at the counter, brandished a firearm, and demanded cash and merchandise.

The employee refused, prompting one of the suspects to discharge the firearm, injuring the employee’s right hand. The duo then escaped, last seen heading west on Scholes Street and entering 128 Lewis Avenue.

The injured employee was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst and is in stable condition.
