Fugitive Duquesne man found hiding under bed in West Mifflin apartment
PITTSBURGH, PA — A man wanted on multiple bench warrants across three counties was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after sheriff’s detectives found him concealed under a bed inside a West Mifflin apartment.
Nicholas Lomax, of Duquesne, was located and arrested by Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office detectives around noon on Thursday after they tracked him to a residence at Mon View Heights Apartments in West Mifflin.
Detectives discovered Lomax hiding under a bed and placed him into custody without further resistance. He was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
Multiple warrants linked to prior flight, assault, and drug charges
Lomax was declared a fugitive earlier this month following the issuance of three bench warrants. Two stem from probation violations on cases in Westmoreland County involving fleeing and eluding police. A third bench warrant in Allegheny County relates to charges of stalking and simple assault.
In addition, Lomax faces active charges out of McKeesport for gun and drug offenses connected to a vehicle crash that occurred earlier this month.
