HS BOYS BASKETBALL: Toms River North Clinches A South Title With Win

Mike Nyizstor and Darrion Carrington scored 12 points each to lead the Toms River North High School boys basketball team to a 50-49 win over visiting Toms River East on Saturday.

Jaden Rhoden scored nine points for the Mariners, including two free throws with 1.9 seconds left in the game to seal the victory. The win clinched the Shore Conference A South regular season championship for Toms River North.

Phil Lingat led all scorers with 18 points for the Raiders. Bailey Engelhard had seven points and 11 rebounds for Toms River East.
