WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting early this morning in Northeast, D.C.
A reported shooting incident prompted police officers to respond to the 4100 Block of Hunt Place at around 2:30 a.m. When police arrived at a nearby gas station, they discovered an unidentified man who had been shot in the chest. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was reported to be conscious and breathing. His present condition is unknown at this time.
