Man stabbed near Pennsylvania Avenue, suspect flees on bicycle

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A stabbing occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW, prompting a police investigation and public lookout.

The suspect, described as a Black male wearing dark clothing, was last seen fleeing the scene on a bicycle. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded swiftly following the report.

The victim’s condition has not been disclosed, and the motive remains unknown.
