According to the NYPD, the incident occurred at approximately 1:17 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, in the vicinity of 1690 Jerome Avenue.

Investigators said two unidentified individuals were riding on a motorcycle when one of the suspects displayed a firearm and fired multiple rounds before the pair fled the area on the motorcycle in an unknown direction.
