WASHINGTON, D.C. – An officer was involved in a vehicle crash while en route to a shooting incident in Southeast D.C., which occurred Sunday evening. The Metropolitan Police Department reported the crash happened as the officer was responding to a shooting that left four people injured on Minnesota Avenue Southeast.

The shooting took place around 6:12 p.m., where police found two men with gunshot wounds, both of whom were conscious and breathing. Additionally, two other victims—a man and a teenage girl—were later located at local hospitals, also being treated for gunshot injuries.
