ENFIELD, Conn. – A Powerball player in Enfield struck it big with a $50,000 win from the October 3 drawing, Connecticut Lottery officials announced.

The lucky ticket was sold at One Stop Enfield, located on Elm Street. The ticket matched four white balls plus the Powerball, landing the game’s third-tier prize.

Claiming the prize

The Connecticut Lottery said the winner has 180 calendar days from the drawing date to claim the prize. Powerball tickets can be redeemed at any CT Lottery High-Tier Claim Center or by mail.

One Stop Enfield, the retailer that sold the ticket, will also receive a retailer bonus.
