BOWIE, Md. – A FAST PLAY Home Run Riches Walk-Off Winnings ticket sold in Bowie scored a $147,550 jackpot, topping the Maryland Lottery’s list of big wins for the week ending October 5.

The winning ticket, sold October 1 at 7-Eleven, 3570 Crain Highway, was one of 32 across the state worth $10,000 or more. In total, Maryland Lottery players collected over $30.1 million in prizes during the seven-day span.

Big winners statewide

Two $100,000 scratch-off tickets were claimed last week: one from Sheetz in Corriganville and another from Whitey’s Liquors in Linthicum. Other large prizes included $50,000 wins in Towson, Brentwood, Parkville, Essex, and Owings Mills.

FAST PLAY, PICK 5, and RACETRAX players also claimed notable payouts, including multiple five-figure wins across counties from Harford to Montgomery.

Claiming and deadlines

The Maryland Lottery reminded players to sign the back of their tickets and check expiration dates. FAST PLAY tickets and draw game prizes expire 182 days from purchase or drawing.

Prizes above $25,000 must be claimed at the Lottery’s Customer Resource Center in Baltimore by appointment. Lower-tier prizes can be redeemed at participating retailers and casino cashier windows.
