Queens knife menace slashes man in face then bolts

Knife slasher wanted after face cutting inside Queens building

QUEENS, N.Y. — A verbal dispute inside a Jackson Heights building turned violent Wednesday night when a man allegedly pulled a knife and slashed a 35-year-old victim across the face before fleeing on foot, police said.

The incident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 10:19 p.m. inside 38-12 104 Street, within the confines of the 115th Precinct.

According to police, the victim and an unidentified individual were engaged in a verbal dispute when the suspect displayed a knife and cut the victim in the face, causing a laceration.

The suspect fled the location on foot to parts unknown. The victim’s condition has not been released.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
