Baltimore Police Recover 10 Stolen Scooters, Two Guns in McElderry Street Raid

Baltimore, MD – A raid led by the Baltimore Police Department’s Metro Mobile Unit (MMU) uncovered a cache of unregistered motor scooters and firearms during a search warrant operation on November 19.

Officers executed the warrant around 11:06 a.m. at a residence in the 3100 block of McElderry Street, recovering ten motorized scooters—two of which had been reported stolen in Baltimore County. Investigators also seized a rifle, a revolver, and various types of ammunition.

The suspect, 46-year-old Tony Seider, was located inside the residence and arrested. In addition to being charged with multiple firearms offenses and possession of stolen property, Seider was found to have an outstanding warrant for First Degree Assault.

The investigation was initiated by intelligence gathered by officers in the Southeast District, who developed probable cause for the search warrant.

The recovered scooters and weapons are now being processed as part of an ongoing investigation.
