Man shot on one block found wounded on another in North Baltimore
Baltimore, MD — A man suffering from a gunshot wound was found on a Park Heights Avenue block after being shot nearby and running for help, according to a Northern District investigation now seeking public assistance.
Officers responded around 8:50 p.m. Sunday to the 4900 block of Park Heights Avenue for reports of a shooting, where they located an unidentified male with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and was listed in stable condition, officials said.
Preliminary findings indicate the shooting occurred in the 4900 block of Palmer Road. The victim then ran to the 4900 block of Park Heights Avenue, where responding officers located him.
Detectives in the Northern District are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and have not released details about a suspect.
