SHELTON, Conn. — One Connecticut Lottery player is suddenly holding a ticket worth $200K after a top-prize scratch-off winner was sold at a Shelton grocery store, according to lottery officials.

The winning ticket was sold Tuesday at Super Stop & Shop #685, located in Shelton.

Lottery officials said the winning game was 100X The Cash, and the prize carried a payout of $200,000.

The winning ticket was reportedly connected to Monroe, according to Connecticut Lottery records released May 19.

Officials did not immediately release information about the identity of the winner or whether the prize has already been claimed.
