Teens nabbed near scene of Baltimore shooting

Teen gunmen accused of firing barrage outside apartment complex head to court

LANCASTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Three teenagers accused of unleashing a hail of gunfire in a crowded apartment complex parking lot are now headed to county court after two waived their preliminary hearings.

Authorities say the suspects — ages 16 and 17 — fired between 10 and 20 rounds at a group of people in the 200 block of Dickens Drive on February 10, sending bystanders scrambling for cover.

Miraculously, no one was injured — but bullets struck multiple vehicles and buildings, including one round that pierced an apartment wall and passed just feet from a woman inside.

Investigators believe one person in the group was the intended target of the shooting.

Two of the teens waived their hearings Wednesday, while the third is scheduled to appear in court next week.

Police say the suspects were riding in a stolen vehicle and fired shots from inside the car before one got out and continued shooting.

Officers later stopped the vehicle and arrested two suspects after they tried to flee on foot. The third was captured about two weeks later.

A “ghost gun” was recovered near the scene of the arrests.
