**NEW CASTLE, DE** – Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting incident related to road rage that occurred Sunday morning in New Castle. On March 2, around 9:41 a.m., troopers responded to reports of shots fired on North Dupont Highway near Fairview Avenue.

Preliminary investigations revealed the incident involved a BMW SUV and an unidentified sedan. During the altercation, a suspect in the front passenger seat of the sedan discharged a firearm at the BMW driver, a 35-year-old Delaware man. The gunfire did not hit the BMW or its driver. After the shots, the suspect’s vehicle fled south on North Dupont Highway.

Authorities describe the suspect as a masked black male wearing dark-colored clothing. There is no further information regarding the suspect or the vehicle.

**Frankford, DE** – Delaware State Police have arrested 18-year-old Kelvin Wescott from Seaford, Delaware, in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Frankford in February.

On February 2, at approximately 1:00 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a shooting on the 28000 block of Gum Tree Road. A 41-year-old male victim was discovered to have been shot and was transported to the Frankford Fire Company. He was later taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.

According to the investigation, a dispute at a residence led to the shooting, with the suspect fleeing the scene afterward. Detectives identified Wescott as the suspect and apprehended him in Millsboro on February 28 without incident. During the arrest, they found .060 grams of heroin on his person.

Wescott was subsequently taken to Troop 4 for processing, charged with several offenses, and arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2. **Newark, NJ** – Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. is appealing to the public for assistance in finding Shanah Reddick, 35, who is wanted for questioning in an aggravated assault shooting that occurred on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

At approximately 2:35 a.m. on that day, the police were dispatched to the 100 block of West End Avenue following a gunfire alert from the shot spotter detection system. Residents reported hearing a loud bang, but officers did not find a crime scene upon arrival.

The situation took a turn at 6:10 a.m. when a resident identified a bullet hole in a window and ceiling of a home on the same block. Reddick is suspected to be a witness to this event, now under the investigation of the Major Crimes Division Shooting Response Team.
