BROOKLYN PARK, Md. – A 22-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Saturday afternoon at the intersection of 4th Street and Edison Street, authorities said.
Officers responded to the scene around 1:20 p.m. and found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. First aid was administered before he was transported to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Northern District detectives are investigating and have not released any suspect information. Authorities urge anyone with information to call 410-222-6135 or submit tips anonymously at 410-222-4700.
Police continue to investigate the shooting as they search for those responsible.
