NEW YORK, N.Y. – The NYPD is searching for an unidentified suspect accused of forcibly touching a 19-year-old woman aboard a northbound No. 5 subway train in Manhattan earlier this month.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, while the train was at the 14th Street-Union Square subway station, according to police. Investigators said the suspect approached the woman from behind.
The individual then forcibly grabbed the victim’s buttocks before fleeing, police said. The suspect was last seen leaving the subway system at the East 149th Street and Third Avenue station in the Bronx.
